Colds and Flu

Colds, flu, along with throat and nose infections, can bring on asthma episodes. The first signs are usually a blocked or runny nose or a sore throat. You cannot stop yourself catching these infections so deal with them as soon as they appear. Annual Flu and pneumonia vaccinations every five years are recommended for everyone over the age of 65 and those who have moderate to severe asthma. Ask your doctor or nurse about getting your flu jab each year.
